Η Μαρία και ο Στάθης διάλεξαν ένα από τα πιο φωτεινά μέρη στον Σαρωνικό για να κάνουν τον γάμο τους. H Παραδοσιακή πόλη της Υδρας είναι ένας παγκόσμιος προορισμός της Ελλάδας, με μοναδικό χαρακτήρα. Ο γάμος ήταν εμπνευσμένος από τα τοπικά χρώματα και ναυτική ιστορία που βρίσκεις σε αυτόν το επιβλητικό μέρος. Στην αγκαλια ενός βουνού απλώνεται η πόλη της Υδρας με τα κανόνια τα σφουγγαράδικα, τα ιστορικά κτήρια του Μιαούλη των Ορλωφ και των ποιητών ζωγράφων και γλυπτών που έκαναν σπιτι τους αυτό το μοναδικό μερος. Maria and Stathis chose one of the brightest places in the Saronic Gulf of Greece to have their wedding. The Traditional City of Hydra is a world renowned destination of Greece, with unique character. The wedding was inspired by the local colors and maritime history found in this imposing place. In the embrace of a mountain the city of Hydra stretches with its cannons, sponge houses, the historical buildings of Miaoulis, the Orloffs and the poets, painters and sculptors who made this unique place their home. In this historical and maritime environment we photographed a Greek wedding for the few remaining romantic souls that still believe in chivalry and women with stars in their eyes. The island has a bohemian soul that does not scream its majesty and beauty, and a charachter so un-expected approachable and discreet, which is why Hydra has been a perpetual meeting place for great personalities for the past hundred years. Cars motorcycles even bicycles are banned in Hydra, the place wants you to walk its narrrow streets to introduce you to its magic and challenges you to discover it on your own. Its so rare to find a place without cars anymore. Cobbled streets make you humble, a few pebbled beaches and unique Greek History in every turn. This one of the places the Greek revolution was started funded and fought against 400 years of Ottoman slavery. The proud flag of Hydra a revolutionary flag is seen and celebrated in every house.
