There is a mysterious force that draws those who constantly think of one another. The pure call it "coincidence." Nicole and Martin’s story spans thousands of miles from Argentina to Athens to London and back again... they left nothing to chance, and here they are together at a wedding that had it all: raw human emotion, the groom "stealing" the bride from the church, guests dancing beneath a star-lit night, but most importantly it had Love and Light. When they came to me for their wedding film, we had previously crossed each other’s paths without knowing it, and in the beauty of that mystery I was given the chance to see them again at one of the most important moments of their lives. Live, love, give as much as you receive — Nicole & Martin. This video was shot with a Canon Mark III and Sony A7s, fixed Canon L-series lenses, with love and without filters or effects.

The video begins with a panoramic shot of the Aegean Sea, sparkling in the sunlight. The camera then pans over to a charming Greek church perched on a hilltop, surrounded by lush greenery. We see the wedding party arriving at the church, the bride and groom looking happy and in love as they walk arm in arm towards the entrance. The ceremony takes place inside the church, with traditional Greek music playing in the background. The couple exchange vows in front of a beautiful altar, surrounded by close friends and family.

After the ceremony, the wedding party boards a boat and sets off on a trip to Kleftiko, a famous beach on Milos known for its turquoise waters and towering white cliffs. The boat ride is filled with laughter and happiness as the group enjoys the stunning views of the island.

Once they arrive at Kleftiko, the wedding party spends the day swimming, sunbathing, and exploring the caves and grottos. The bride and groom are seen taking a romantic walk along the beach, hand in hand, as the sun sets over the Aegean Sea.

The video ends with the wedding party enjoying a delicious meal of fresh fish and Greek salad on the beach, toasting to the newlyweds and their future together. It's a truly magical and memorable day, captured perfectly in this beautiful video of a small wedding on the breathtaking island of Milos.

Lars & Alkistis. A German man and a Greek woman with little curls in her hair were eagerly awaiting this wedding because it was simple yet set in a fantastic landscape. Lars, shy, and Alkistis, unpretentious and austere like a true Maniot, did not want staged moments. The result, however, was perfect, because such a special and romantic setting as a wedding in Mani inevitably makes you feel your marriage intensely. #elopeingreece #maniwedding. See here a wedding video in the greek island of Serifos and a wedding party at beach bar Saan στην παραλία Γάνεμα. I have visited Serifos many times for holidays; it’s an island made for relaxed moments and slow days, but you must always be prepared for strong meltemi winds. In June, when we went for the wedding, we encountered 7–8 beaufort winds, so we had a small battle with the wind during the day. Despite that, the wedding was perfect. The groom was from the island and had organised everything.

A bit more about Serifos:

• Location and character: Serifos is a small Cycladic island in the western Aegean, known for its rugged landscapes, low whitewashed houses, narrow alleys and authentic, unspoiled atmosphere. It’s quieter than the more famous Cyclades, which makes it ideal for travellers seeking calm, traditional island life.

• Beaches: The island has many varied beaches — from sandy stretches like Psili Ammos and Livadakia to pebbly and rocky coves such as Ganema and Vagia. Some beaches are accessible by foot or boat, offering privacy and dramatic sea views.

• Wind and weather: The Aegean meltemi can be strong, especially in late spring and summer. Winds of 6–8 beaufort are not uncommon; they cool the island and create great conditions for windsurfers, but they can complicate outdoor events and photography, so plan accordingly with sturdy setups and shelter options.

• Practical tips for weddings and events: choose venues with windbreaks or options for quick shelter; secure decorations, marquees and equipment; schedule key moments (ceremony, couple photos) for calmer periods of the day if possible.
